HR Advisor

We are delighted to assist our client, a global FMCG Manufacturer and Distributor, in their search for a HR Advisor at their site in Huntingdon. Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, you will work as part of the HR team to provide a professional, high quality, timely, customer focused HR service to key stakeholders, job applicants and customers.


Key Responsibilities of HR Advisor:


         Continually improve our ability to attract and retain exceptional people

         Maintain a culture that thrives on high performance and recognition

         Effectively allocation of people to maximise business performance

         Continually drive a culture of leadership consistent with our values

         Provide personal development that meets individual aspirations and changing business needs

         Demonstrates a clear understanding of who HR customers are and consistently demonstrate excellent customer service, treating all customers with fairness, dignity and respect.

         Working in collaboration with the HR team on cross-role projects

         Producing HR correspondence: employment contracts, job offer letters, salary increase, maternity/paternity leave letters, resignation acknowledgement and other HR letters as requested.

         Maintaining the timekeeping system Time and attendance system: monitoring absences, dealing with clocking anomalies.

         Weekly payroll administration using the T&A system.

         Maintaining HR system

         Processing annual leave requests.

         KPI reporting using the HR and T&A Systems

         To collate and update job descriptions for all employees in liaison with the HR Manager L&D Manager.


Ideal Candidate for HR Advisor:

         Previous experience in a HR Advisor role

         Experience of working within Employee Engagement frameworks

         Training and development experience

         Employee relations

         Up to date with the latest legislation
